Mobile Setup - OneLogin Protect

At Compass, we use OneLogin Protect to keep you and your data secure via two-factor authentication security. OneLogin pairs with your mobile device to verify that activity in your account was initiated by you. The OneLogin Protect app is essential for setting up and accessing your account.

Computer Setup

Compass’s tools are designed and built for use with Google Chrome, so we recommend that you use Chrome for your onboarding and with the Compass tools moving forward.

Log in to Google Chrome

To begin, open Chrome and click on your user icon in the top right of the Chrome window. If you are already signed in to a personal Google Chrome profile, this circle will have your photo or initial. You’ll be clicking “Add” to add a new Chrome account, which we’ve set up for you.

Click “+ Add” under “Other People.”

Chrome will open a new window prompting you to set up your browser. Our support team has set yours up, so click “Sign In”

 

After choosing to login to an existing profile, you’ll be prompted to sign in twice with your Compass email address; first you’ll sign into Google and then you’ll sign into OneLogin. OneLogin is a platform that logs you into all of your Compass accounts at once. You’ll be prompted to input a password - this is the temporary password provided to you by your Onboarding Specialist.

Enter your email again through OneLogin. When prompted, enter the temporary password provided by your Onboarding Coordinator.

Open the OneLogin Protect App on your mobile device then on your computer select “Begin Set Up”.

Click the blue “Activate” button.

 

On your mobile device, tap the “+” in the top right corner and your camera will open.

 

Scan the QR code on your computer screen and you’ll see a green check mark, followed by a six digit code. You can now close the OneLogin Protect app.

 
Click “Continue”

Next, you’ll verify that this is the correct account - click “Continue”.

Select “Yes, I’m in”

Once you are fully signed in, you will be prompted to “Turn on Sync”. These settings will allow your preferences and profile to be accessed any time you sign into this account - Click “Yes, I’m In”

 

Reset Your Password

Your OneLogin password will be your password for all of your Compass accounts, including your email, calendar, and Compass.com Agent Home. You can reset your password by logging into compass.onelogin.com with your temporary password.

  1. Visit compass.onelogin.com and sign in if prompted.

  2. On the OneLogin home screen, click your name and photo at the top right corner.

  3. Select “Profile”.

  4. Select “Change Password” on the left side menu.

  5. Use the temporary password provided by your Onboarding Specialist as the current password and set the new password as something only you know.

  6. Click the blue button that says “Update Password” at the bottom to save.

OneLogin Chrome extension

When you’re logged into your Compass Chrome profile, you will have access to the OneLogin extension, where you’ll be able to easily access the Compass suite of tools with the click of a button. To make the extension visible, click the puzzle piece icon in the top right of the Chrome window, then click the pin icon next to OneLogin for Google Chrome.

Reviewing your OneLogin Chrome Extension

Once the OneLogin extension has been pinned, you can click on it to access the full suite of Compass tools. Here are a few sites you may find useful:

Review Your Bookmarks

 

The following bookmarks were preset for you to use.

  • OneLogin - Portal with access to all Compass accounts and resources.

  • Agent Home - Your Agent Home page on Compass.com where you’ll access the Compass tools.

  • Calendar - Your Compass calendar with access to local events and trainings.

  • Compass National Onboarding Site - Your self service onboarding guide which you can reference at any time.

 

 Getting started with your Gmail and Google Calendar

Now let’s set up your Compass Gmail account and calendar. Start by going to your Gmail inbox. This can be found by clicking “Google Workspace” in your OneLogin extension, or by using the bookmark we saved above.

In your Gmail inbox let’s set up your email signature.

  1. At the top of your email inbox, you should see an option that says “Set a Signature”

  2. Click that option and you’ll be directed to Settings. Scroll down until you see your email signature.

  3. The signature has already been set up for you, but if you’d like to make an additions or if you notice any errors, feel free to update it. If you do make changes, make sure to scroll to the bottom and click “Save Changes.”

  4. This email signature will now be included on all emails sent from your account.

Click “Continue Tech Set-Up” below, to add your new email account to your mobile device and log in to the Compass Real Estate App!
