How to Set Up Email in the Apple iOS Mail App

On your iPhone, you’ll navigate to your Settings and select the Mail app, where you’ll add your new account.

After selecting “Continue” to sign into Google, you’ll be prompted to sign in with your Compass email. You’ll enter your email once with Google, then again with OneLogin.

Enter your new password and select “Keep me signed in” before continuing

Next you’ll be approving the login using the OneLogin Protect app that we paired with your account. This approval will be needed any time you log in to your email on a new device.

You’ll be routed to the OneLogin Protect app where you are prompted to accept or deny the login. Tap Accept. If you are not automatically routed back, go back to your Settings app. after accepting the login.

Back in Settings, make sure “Mail” is toggled on in the account and Contacts are toggled off. Importing the contacts will pull the entire Compass directory into your phone, so we don’t recommend it.

If you would like to add your email signature to your Apple iOS Mail app, start by sending yourself a blank test email from your Compass email account on your computer. You will then open that email in your Apple iOS Mail app and copy/paste the signature into your Mail signature settings.

Go to Settings > Mail > Signature and select Per Account.

Go back to your iPhone settings (grey gear icon) select “Mail”, then “Signature” and select “Per Account” as shown in the screenshot above.

Paste your signature in the window. Shake the phone or double tap with 3 fingers and select “Undo Change Attributes” - this will keep the compass formatting so your signature will be consistent everywhere.

Your signature will now appear on emails sent from mobile. Send yourself a test email from mobile to make sure it’s correct.

 How to Set Up Email in the Gmail App

If you are not logged in with an existing account, open the Gmail app and select “Sign In”. If you are currently logged into an existing account, open the Gmail app and select the profile button at the top right to add a new account.

After entering your Compass email with Google, you’ll be prompted to enter your email again with OneLogin Protect App.

J.P. Morgan Access App (for licensed team members)

Let’s confirm you have downloaded the J.P. Morgan Access App. 

By setting up the JPMorgan Chase Mobile app, you are able to deposit checks made out to Compass quickly to enable your commissions getting processed faster and not risk the check getting lost in the mail. The best alternative is to ensure that your title company has your region’s Wire Instructions-your AEM can send to you after onboarding.

Next Steps:

  • The Treasury team will reach out via your Compass email within 48 hours with login information 

  • Once you are set with the login information, you can log into the downloaded JPM app (if you haven’t already)

  • From there, you will login with the credentials from the Compass Treasury team email, and select the bank account, based on your region
